Automatically collected information

We automatically collect data on how our users visit accounts.clsw.app, such as your IP address, location, browser, browser language, operating system, device identifiers, cookies and internet/service provider. We use this data to provide a smooth experience across all services, which allows you to easily log in to any Collection service. Your data may also be used to statistically track user behavior when using our services. Our services use cookies to enhance their functionality. Social media information

If you linked your Collection account to other social media platforms, we may collect information provided to us by the social media network in question. Depending on the social media network this can include your username, name, email address, friends list and more. In addition, we collect demographic data when users interact with Collection Software's social media accounts.

Policy on collecting sensitive personal information

Collection Software, and therefore Collection Accounts, does NOT gather any of your sensitive information, such as your social security number, driver's license number, race, ethnicity, religion, health metrics, political associations, or details on your criminal background.

How the information collected is used

We only use your personal information to help you utilize our services.
This includes:

Creating and maintaining your Collection Account
Completing transactions through our Payment partners via our internal payment system
Shipping items and / or invoices
Fulfilling customer service requests
Communicating our sales and promotions
Contacting you regarding updates to our policies
Making all of our services available to you in a convenient manner
Providing relevant advertisements to you as you use our services
Evaluating analytics and statistics to see how our customers engage with our services
Providing information to Collection's first-party services*
Providing information to third-party services* authorized by Collection after the user grants the respective permissions
Providing information to external service* after the user grants the respective permissions
Securely transferring information between Collection's first-party services*

Footnote: services

First-party services refers to services developed and maintained by Collection Software. These services can freely access your collection account and use this data to the extent outlined in this privacy policy. These services must still obtain permission via our OAuth2 system to access any of your sensitive data.
Third-party service refers to service developed and maintained by authorized partners of Collection Software. These partners are closely monitored to respect your privacy. You must grant permission via our OAuth2 system before these services can access any information regarding your Collection Account.
External services refers to services developed and maintained by external parties. You must grant permission via our OAuth2 system before these services can access any information regarding your Collection Account. Collection Accounts will warn you when authorizing these applications. If an external party is found to violate your privacy, Collection Software will immediately suspend this parties access to our systems and notify affected users.

Authorization & Services

Users are, at any point in time, able to view all services that can access their account information. Users are also able to revoke permission from any service authorized on their account. As per our guidelines, when authorization is revoked, external services must dispose of all data obtained through Collection Accounts within 24 hours. First- and Third-party services may store information differently according to their respective privacy policies.

Who information is shared with

We may share your information with third parties, but only those that Collection Software has fully vetted and created a partnership with. Additionally, information may be shared with services authorized by the user as outlined in the paragraph above.

Information Security

We do our best to keep your private information secure and safe. Most of your personal information is stored securely on our servers and is therefore protected from being accessed from outside parties. However, data leaks and malicious attacks do happen. Please understand that while we do our best to protect your data, providing your personal data is at your own risk. In the event of a breach of security on any of our services, we will immediately notify all affected users with specific information on the data affected.

Ability to decline to provide personal information

You can, of course, decline to disclose your personal information to us. However, the failure to provide us with pertinent information may limit your ability to fully utilize our services. Information such as your username and email address are necessary to maintain your collection account. Other personal information may be required to use specific features of our services or complete transactions on our network.

This privacy policy was last updated on January third of 2024 according to the GMT+01 timezone. We reserve the right to adjust this policy as needed. If we adjust our privacy policy, we will email all account holders of this change. Once posted, the new privacy policy shall be effective immediately.
